When my Mom and I were in Brighton, we wanted to go for a meal at Brighton Marina. There were so many places to choose from, all chains, and they were all doing eat-out-to-help-out when we went in August, so we decided on Pizza Express. The location was amazing, you could see the Marina through the restaurant, which was a stunning view.
To start, my Mom ordered the Bruschetta, which looked really tasty & I obviously went for the Dough Balls, which were absolutely delicious as always. I feel like Pizza Express is somewhere you have to get a starter – there are so many mouth-watering items on offer that you can’t really skip having one! If you have never had Pizza Express dough balls you are seriously missing out.
For our main course, I went for Margherita Pizza, an absolute classic and my favourite on a Romana base. My Mom ordered a Bolognese which looked really tasty as you can see above! It is great that Pizza Express serves pizza, pasta and salad to suit everyone in your party. They also serve gluten-free and vegan options!
For dessert, my Mom ordered a Tiramisu & I ordered Gelato in Salted Caramel and Vanilla flavours. I love a classic gelato, after you’ve eaten a huge pizza it’s a very light pudding to go for. My Mom said that her Tiramisu was delicious. We also loved the look of the Honeycomb Cream Slice!
This is the last of my Brighton food reviews, I hope you have enjoyed them and if you go to Brighton can enjoy some of these restaurants too! The majority of places we visited were chain restaurants, partly because I hadn’t seen many reviews on independent restaurants in Brighton. If you have been to any, please leave them below so I can check them out next time.
