I’ve heard so many great things about The Breakfast Club over the years, it has been recommended to me when I’ve headed to London but strangely I’d never been. I saw there was one in Brighton so quickly booked a table – it was a Monday in August so it was super busy!
The decor was definitely right up my street – so eighties – as suggested by the name The Breakfast Club, which is also one of my favourite films. The music they were playing was my favourite and there’s not much better than eating breakfast listening to music you love!
Something we found really good about The Breakfast Club was when they were seating us, they asked if either of us had any allergies and sent someone to the table to discuss this. My Mom does have a nut allergy so they asked what dish she was thinking of going for and confirmed that it didn’t contain nuts and wasn’t cooked with nuts. This is really reassuring for people with allergies and it saves you bringing it up yourself. There is so much on offer on the menu that if you have any allergies or food preferences, you’d be able to find something.
For drinks, I ordered an orange juice and my Mom ordered a black coffee. Quite basic breakfast drinks but sometimes that’s just what you want! Both were delicious and if you love orange juice with bits – this one’s definitely for you.
My Mom ordered ‘The Full Monty’ which included bacon, sausage, crispy potatoes, garlic mushrooms, hash brown, black pudding, beans, tomato, fried eggs and toast, everything you need on a full English breakfast. I went for the Bacon and Blueberry Pancakes, whenever I go for breakfast pancakes are my top choice, these were delicious topped with icing sugar and maple syrup. The bacon was perfectly crispy too and exactly how I like it!
We had a great experience at The Breakfast Club and would definitely go back whether in Brighton or London! Have you ever been to The Breakfast Club?
