Red Cherry Lashes on White Background with Purple Ribbon

Eye makeup is my favourite part of doing makeup, I love how creative you can be using different colours and styles of eyeshadow and eyeliner. I love using a variety of palettes to create different looks to match my mood, sometimes I want a bright colourful eye and other times I love a good classic bronze eye. I think false lashes really complete eye looks and can add extra ‘oomph’ that mascara sometimes can’t.

False lashes are one makeup product that I’ve never really switched up. I’ve been using Ardell Demi Wispies for years and recently decided to step out of my comfort zone for a night out and bought some Ardell Wispies – which I think are now my new favourite lashes. As I’m such a false lash novice, I’d never tried Red Cherry lashes before, only ever Eylure and Ardell, so I wasn’t sure how I’d get on with them – as we all know girls, putting on lashes can be the most stressful experience!

One thing I love about Red Cherry lashes is the packaging. Some lash boxes are unnecessarily huge and it can be hard to find the space to store them, but as the Red Cherry lashes are packaged in small boxes, they are perfect to store in my small acrylic storage. This makes it easier to keep stocked up on them too! I picked the styles Wispy, Harley, Stevi and Ivy which I think would all be great to wear on a night out and in the day too if I had an event on such as a wedding or a christening. The Wispy lashes are my favourite because they remind me of Ardell’s Wispies.

When it comes to false lashes, I usually apply with my hands as I can’t stand using tweezers. I love the lash applicator I was sent as it is helpful for those times I don’t want to use my hands, and can stop me getting makeup all over the lashes! FalseEyelashes.co.uk stock a range of false lashes for great prices, I’ll definitely be using them to restock my false lashes when I run out.
