I’ve been on the hunt for some new makeup brushes for a while and it makes me so happy that I’ve finally found some affordable cruelty-free make up brushes. I’d never heard of Benecos before trying these brushes, but I now know that their products are organic and natural, as well as being cruelty-free and that makes them a great ethical brand.
Benecos brushes are made from 100% synthetic bristles, recyclable aluminium and FSC certified recyclable wood, meaning they are kind to the environment as well as animals. The synthetic bristles are also great for sensitive skin and avoiding any irritation that may be caused by animal hair bristles.
I am in love with the design of the brushes, the whole range is so colourful and I feel like it makes it easier to find the brush you want quickly as the handles are all different colours. I have been trying out the foundation, powder and lip brushes, which have lovely bright yellow, pink and red handles – fun and easy to find in my makeup bag.
I have rather sensitive skin that goes red when slightly touched, so it was wonderful to find out that these brushes are incredibly soft, I’d say softer than any makeup brush I’ve used previously. The foundation brush helps me to put on my foundation without increasing the redness of my skin and doesn’t make my foundation streaky, which I have found with other foundation brushes in this style.
The powder brush is very fluffy and unlike the powder brush I’d been using before trying this one out. It applies my powder across my face perfectly, without making my face feel sore after my powder application. The lip brush is perfect for applying my nearly finished Charlotte Tilbury lipstick – it feels so soft on the lips and is the perfect size to get into all those nooks and crannies of your lips.
I will certainly be expanding my collection of these brushes due to their affordability and great quality.
