Now we’ve finally gone into Autumn and come out of Summer (although the weather has oddly warmed up again?) I thought it was time to post my Summer favourites. All of my Summer favourites have turned out to all be similar colours…it’s a complete coincidence, although it does look very pretty. They have also been all beauty and haircare favourites, as I’ve found a love for trying new products again.
L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Vitamino Color A-OX Shampoo & Conditioner
My boyfriend’s Grandma & Grandad bought me these as a set for Christmas last year, but I only started using them recently. I have a super sensitive scalp so I always worry about using new hair care, but these are so gentle on my scalp and leave my hair feeling so soft and smelling amazing. They also make your hair look like it has been washed in the hairdressers. I definitely want to repurchase these when they run out!
Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator
I’d been using the same moisturiser for over a year until I purchased this, I needed one that added more hydration to my skin and this is the perfect moisturiser to do just that. Even though it seems like a lot of money to spend on a moisturiser, this pot lasted for three months, and I’ve just ordered another to replace it. If your skin needs hydration, this makes it feel so soft and sorts out any dry patches you have.
Joy by Dior
I got sent the new Dior perfume before it was announced, as you can see by the plain sample sized bottle. This is a contender for being my new favourite perfume, as any perfume with vanilla notes seems to end up in my perfume collection. When my sample runs out, I’ll definitely be repurchasing it or popping it on my Christmas list.
Umberto Giannini Blow Dry in a Bottle
I always use a heat protectant spray before drying my hair and this one from Umberto Giannini is perfect for adding volume to my thick, yet flat hair. It also smells beautiful and the smell stays on my hair for a long while afterwards. As an added bonus, it is cheaper than the one I used to use and is often on a 3 for 2 offer at Boots.
Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Bound
I haven’t used many Nars lip products, but I am a huge fan of their velvet lip glides. They stay on for a long time and are so easy to apply. I’ve been wearing the colour ‘Bound’ a lot over the summer, it’s a great everyday shade and I’m sure I’ll carry on using it into Autumn and Winter too.
