Gwen Stefani O.P.I. Collection

in nails, January 18, 2014

Hello everyone! I heard about Gwen Stefani’s collection for O.P.I. back in October, when my friend posted a link on my Facebook wall. I was so excited, and couldn’t believe it when I saw tweets saying it was being shown exclusively on QVC earlier this week. I tuned in just to see the beautiful colours and how much the collection would be. Little did I know that my Mom had actually ordered me the collection for my birthday, and gave it to me early. The complete collection consists of 7 polishes: Push and Shove, Hey Baby, I Sing in Colour, Love.Angel.Music.Baby, 4 in the Morning, Over and Over A-Gwen & In True Stefani Style; and a base coat: Lay Down the Base. I own Push and Shove, Hey Baby, I Sing in Colour, Love.Angel.Music.Baby, 4 in the Morning and Lay Down the Base.I love every single shade, especially Push and Shove, it is absolutely beautiful!Push and Shove comes with a Mini Lay Down that Base. It is described as a Silver Glitter but it isn’t glittery at all! It looks like such a smooth shiny silver, I can’t wait to wear this. I’ve never owned a polish like this, and it will be absolutely amazing for a night out.Hey Baby is an amazing hot pink shade. I have a few polishes similar to this, and I love pinks like this to wear on my nails all year round! It’ll look especially amazing in the summer.I Sing in Colour is a beautiful reddy-purple shade, and is described as ‘Blackberry’. I love purple, it’s my favourite colour, and I can see me getting a lot of wear out of this!
Love.Angel.Music.Baby is a gorgeous gold, with a similar feel to those in the Mariah Carey Christmas Collection. I love this, I can’t wait to try it out.
4 in the Morning is a beautiful black satin, I rarely wear black nail polish but I think I could definitely make this work somehow!

What do you think of Gwen Stefani’s O.P.I. Collection?
