My Favourite YouTubers

I rarely ever watch TV and in my relaxation time, I like to watch YouTube videos. There are a fair few people's videos I love to watch, but I thought I'd limit myself to 10 for this post, otherwise it would get a bit too much! These are in no particular order.

SacconeJoly's
Everyday at 6pm, there is a new SacconeJoly's video. I think that's one thing I love about them - there is always a new video to watch. I have no idea why daily vlogs interest me so much, but they do. Such a lovely little family and their videos are so uplifting! I love watching Anna and Jonathan's separate main channel videos too.

Charlotte | LilMissChickas
I really look forward to Charlotte's weekly vlogs, Disney vlogs and Disney videos. Her weekly vlogs are the most interesting weekly vlogs I watch and I love how long they are, meaning I can watch them while I eat my dinner haha! I also love Disney a lot and I love hearing all about Disney on her channel.

Ellie Steadman
I haven't been watching Ellie's videos for long, but I always look forward to her uploads. I absolutely love her Disney vlogs, they're some of the best ones I watch and they really give you an insight into Disneyland Paris and Disney World. I also love her general Disney videos and her weekly vlogs which she started recently!

Giovanna Fletcher
Giovanna's videos are rather different. Once a week she does 'Dear Carrie' to Carrie Fletcher who is Tom Fletcher's sister, which are fun to watch as it's like a weekly round up.

Rhiannon Ashlee
I'd say Rhiannon's videos and vlogs are the ones I most look forward to watching out of everyone's. This month she's vlogging everyday in June and is doing amazing! Her vlogs are really enjoyable to watch and it's lovely watching her videos through her pregnancy journey.

Cupcake Jemma
Jemma uploads new videos every Thursday and honestly as soon as I've watched her most recent upload, I'm counting down to the next one. Her recipes are to die for and ever so yummy. I love seeing new things I could bake and recreate, and the new interesting recipes she's come up with.

FleurDeForce
Fleur was the first YouTuber I ever watched, back in 2010 I searched for a Pixie Lott make up tutorial and found Fleur's channel. Since then I've been watching her videos and I absolutely love them still to this day. Fleur's channel is mainly beauty and fashion, I also love watching her vlog channel.

Melody Collis
I love watching Melody's videos, she does vlogs and sit down videos and both are enjoyable to watch. One of her most recent videos was her Tattoo Collection - which I loved, one because she has a Green Day tattoo and two because I'm nosey and love seeing other people's tattoos!

Shaaanxo
Shannon uploads make up tutorials and first impressions. I love how honest she is about beauty products and how she does her make up!

Sarah Ashcroft
If you follow Sarah's instagram or blog you'll know how her make up is always on point. I love watching her make up tutorials to see how to recreate her make up.

My Current Skincare Routine

My skincare routine is a staple in my day-to-day life, it's one of those things I never forget to do. I've finally got skincare products I'm happy with after years of major problem skin and my skin is the clearest it's ever been with these products. Through experience of using different skincare, I think French skincare is best and that is why all of my skincare products are French.

I start off my skincare routine by using La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel. At the moment I'm just lathering this up and applying it to my face with my hands, but sometimes I like to use my Magnitone Barefaced brush. After rinsing my face of the cleanser, I dry off and then apply La Roche-Posay Serozinc to a cotton pad, then to my face. After the Serozinc has sunk in to my skin, I will apply my Garnier Moisture+ Matte Moisturiser, which leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh.

My night-time skincare routine is pretty much the same, except if I'm wearing make-up, I will take it off with Bioderma Sensibio H2O and a cotton pad. I will also use Garnier Moisture+ Restore Night Care Cream instead of my daily moisturiser, it's a bit more hydrating for overnight and I wake up with my skin feeling refreshed.

My go-to everyday lipsticks

L to R: Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl, MAC Russian Red, Clarins Tea Rose, MAC Lady Danger, YSL Pink in Paris

This post has been a long time coming so I thought I'd finally put it up! These lipsticks are the ones that I keep in my everyday make up drawer and decide which one I'm popping on my face depending on where I'm off to and what eye shadow I've got on. As you can probably already tell I'm not much of a nude lip girl, I prefer to opt for my reds and pinks on a daily basis.

Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution lipstick in Bond Girl is my favourite lipstick currently, it's described as a 'chic natural berry' and it's such a gorgeous your lips but better shade. The square shaped bullet makes it extra easy to apply, it's just so effortless, I love it. MAC Russian Red is my 'easy' everyday red, it takes barely any time to apply and is perfect for the colder months when I want a darker lip. Clarins Joli Rouge lipstick in Tea Rose provides the perfect sheer lip for when you're rushing out the door. That's what I use it for anyway!

MAC Lady Danger is the perfect orangey-red for Spring and Summer. I love popping this on as it's so bold and such a fun colour. YSL Pink in Paris is perfect for a day where my eye shadow needs that perfect pink lip to match with. It's so moisturising, it's perfect all year round.

How Much Is My Face Worth?

I did one of these 'What is my face worth?' posts a long while back when I first started this blog and thought I'd do an updated one, now I use more products and more high end products. It can be a huge surprise how much you actually spent on your everyday make up, but it's fun to see nonetheless!

The products I use:

Revlon ColorStay Foundation in Buff £12.99
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder £3.99
Benefit BrowZings £24.50

Tanning Routine

When it gets warmer outside, I like to match the weather and become more tanned. This is mainly because even though I enjoy being my pale self, I also enjoy being tanned when I can't hide my legs away in tights anymore! There are a few things I like to do to get myself ready for tanning and specific products that I find help me achieve the best result for me.

The day before I tan, I'll have a shower and shave and exfoliate while I'm in there, then moisturise afterwards with Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter. If my nails aren't painted, I'll paint them with a clear base coat so the tan doesn't stain them. On the day I tan, I'll have a shower and exfoliate, then when I get out apply my body butter to my elbows, ankles, hands and knees. I wait until I think my pores have closed up and then I'll get down to tanning! The tans I'm loving using at the moment are the Bondi Sands Light/Medium Foam and Dark Lotion. It depends what look I'm going for really to which one I'll use. I use the Velvotan Self Tan Mitt to apply the tan and also the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to blend it in, after one of my friends recommended it to me! I then sleep in my tan and wash it off when I wake up leaving me with a nice bronzed glow.

My tan usually lasts around 7 days and I think that's down to the fact that I use the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk, which keeps it topped up and prevents it fading.

Urban Decay in Wonderland | The Queens

For my last Alice Through The Looking Glass inspired make up looks, I thought I'd combine the Red Queen and the White Queen in one post. Mirana is the White Queen and Iracebeth is the Red Queen, both of who have rather fun make up!
For Mirana's make up I did my base as normal. For the eyes, I put Duchess all over my lid, Kingdom in the middle of the lid, Chessboard in the crease and Lily in the inner corner. I then popped MAC Russian Red on to complete the look.
For Iracebeth's make up look I went for her classic blue eyes. I put Heads Will Roll all over my lid, Bandersnatch in the crease and then the oh-so-sparkly Royal Flush in the inner corner. I then changed the lipstick up a little by putting Lady Danger on.

How would you do the Queens' make up?

Urban Decay in Wonderland | The Mad Hatter Make Up Look

This is my second Alice Through The Looking Glass inspired make up look, this one's for the Mad Hatter. I took inspiration from Johnny Depp's Hatter for this look, it's so exciting doing out of the ordinary make up looks, but this is still a wearable one.

I did my base as normal, then I started on the eyes. I put Hatter all over my lid, then Cake in the crease. I thought I'd also be fun to use Gone Mad as liner. I then popped on some bright pink lipstick in the form of MAC Miley Viva Glam to complete the look.

How would you do the Hatter's make up?
