National Stationery Week 2016

Happy National Stationery Day! I am obsessed with stationery if you didn't already know, which means this is quite an exciting week to talk about for me, however sad you think that is. National Stationery Week this year is from the 25th April to the 1st May. I use stationery on a day-to-day basis and I think it's so important. Sometimes my words don't flow when I type them, but when I write them onto paper they flow naturally. I also think having brand new stationery is so nice, I always enjoyed buying my stationery for college.

I was kindly sent some bits for National Stationery Week, both useful and fun things. I always write with Bic Cristal Biros so it was nice to receive a pack of these, they'll be perfect for when I go back to college in September. I got another Sheaffer ballpoint pen, which is lovely. It's great to have a nice pen to write with! I also got a pack of Staedtler colouring pencils, which will be perfect for using with my Alice in Wonderland colouring book. The Maped Graph Peps I was sent look like they'd be perfect for making fun notes in my organiser. The last thing I was sent was an A5 Notebook from NU:elite. The pages are nice and thick meaning if I want to write on them with fineliner it shouldn't go through, which is always good!

LUSH Happy Daze Gift Box

For my birthday two of my friends bought me this amazing LUSH gift set. I was so excited and happy to receive this, as I've never actually used any of these LUSH products before. The packaging of the Happy Daze gift box is so 1960's and psychedelic, I love it so much! It includes The Experimenter and Fizzbanger bath bombs, as well as the Brightside and The Comforter bubble bars.

The Experimenter
I'd heard big things about this bath bomb so I was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed and I was not! It fizzed to reveal the most incredible colours, I think the highlight of this is watching it fizz. It also smells like vanilla which is one of my favourite scents.

I'm really sad about this bath bomb, I can't actually use it because it has cinnamon oil in! According to the LUSH website it has an apple pie like fragrance, which sounds amazing. Also, it is meant to be a calming, uplifting bath bomb due to some of the ingredients in it.

This bubble bar is amazing. I barely ever have bubbles in my bath and haven't for years, having ones that smell citrusy is a bonus. It turns your water orange and I think it's a nice uplifting spring/summer scent.

The Comforter
What a lovely bubble bar! I love the blackcurrant smell of this, another one of my favourite scents. The bubbles it creates are just amazing, and it turns your water a lovely shade of pink.

I changed my blog name!

This is a change I've been wanting to make for a while. I started my blog in August 2013, nearly 3 years ago and in that time a lot has changed! When I started this blog, I called it "Beautrina" because I thought it was going to be beauty focused. However, after blogging for nearly 3 years, I've found topics I want to post about and even ones I prefer to beauty reviews. Over the past 6 months I've been feeling a bit 'meh' about my blog and I felt like I needed a name change to fall back in love with my blog. It's not great to have a blog name that you don't really like anymore and also one you're embarassed to say out loud! So welcome to "Katrina Frances" which is simply my name, I feel so much more comfortable with my new blog name and now I don't feel tied down to beauty!

I have also changed these social media channels & my email address:

Motel Tahnee Tea Dress | Daisy Ribbon Pink

Dress - Motel | Shoes - Vivienne Westwood | Necklace - Hannah Makes Things

My favourite item of clothing to wear is a dress. I love that they come in so many different styles, patterns and colours, and they actually fit me unlike jeans and trousers. One of my favourite styles of dress is a tea dress, one of the best things about them is that they twirl. I spotted this one on Motel a few weeks ago and fell in love with the style and the pattern, and because of my growing collection of Motel I know their clothes are great quality so I ordered it. It's the perfect spring/summer dress and I can see myself getting plenty of wear out of it!

It goes perfectly with my Vivienne Westwood flats, the colour is a perfect match and now I finally have something to wear them with. I also found the necklace out of my collection, which I bought at the Clothes Show a few years ago from Hannah Makes Things. It's the cutest little mug of tea and I love how quirky it is.
Do you own anything from Motel?
