Magnitone BareFaced

I have very high hopes for Magnitone products since using the wonderful Magnitone Lucid, so when Magnitone London kindly sent me their newest 'BareFaced' brush to try out I got straight to testing it out. The BareFaced brush uses Vibra-Sonic Gentle Deep-Pore cleansing to get to where your cleanser usually wouldn't, keeping your pores clean. It also has a Pulselift Toning Mode, which gives your skin a workout to improve micro-circulation. In the box, you get the facial brush and brush head, wireless USB charger, a travel bag and a 12 month warranty. The box is also very helpful - especially for people like me who find reading instructions boring.

I use the brush with my La Roche-Posay Effaclar Cleanser and I was not disappointed when I used it! My skin felt so soft and my toner, serum and moisturiser sank straight into my skin whereas it usually sits on top. The first setting on the brush felt very similar to the Magnitone Lucid for me, however the Pulselift Toning Mode felt like having an expensive facial which is a complete treat. I took a break from the Lucid brush when I had my nose pierced as I found it awkward to use without getting anything in my piercing. Between then and now my skin has needed a boost as it has been looking a little lacklustre. The barefaced brush has done just that - it's added a glow to my bareface!

Autumn Shoes Wishlist

One | Two | Three | Four | Five

One - Emilia Luca X Red Ruckster Ankle Boots*
I love the Autumn shoe trends and there's nothing more Autumnal than a cosy pair of boots. I love my feet being warm and toasty! The detailing on them caught my eye - I love when boots have patterns on them. These would be perfect with skinny jeans or a pair of leggings for a cosy autumnal look.

Two - Vans Disney Wonderland Slip-Ons
Disney and Alice in Wonderland are two of my favourite things. I saw these shoes and instantly fell in love with them! They're so bright and colourful, I think they'd brighten up my Autumn and Winter. They look so comfy too, I could just slip them on with some jeans or leggings on a chilled out day.

Three - Knee High Black Boots
There is nothing better in cold weather than to be covered up and these knee high boots will mean I can wear dresses in autumn/winter without the fear of my legs getting cold. They are also very on-trend at the moment in the seventies trend!

Four - Lilly Glitter Loafers
I must admit I am totally for glitter shoes. These ones would be incredible throughout autumn and winter, to wear when you want to dress your outfit up a little bit. The festive season is full of glitter so they won't look out of place!

Five - Velvet Platform Sandals
These would be perfect for the upcoming party season. Velvet platform sandals with glittery or sequin dresses in the colder months look absolutely gorgeous. I would play it safe with the black ones but only because I'd want them to go with everything!

Benefit Blogger Event October 2015

A couple of weeks ago, I headed to a Benefit blogger's event after work at my nearest Debenhams, in the Bullring, Birmingham. Us bloggers got to view the new boutique and have a complimentary treatment done to experience what Benefit do at the boutique. I get my eyebrows tinted and waxed regularly at this Benefit counter so I know how that works, however I was unsure about the other treatments they offer so it was interesting to hear about those. Sorry about the photo quality - I forgot my camera on the night so had to use my phone!

Chi Kitchen put on a spread and I had a glass of champagne before being shown around the two boutique rooms. The one room is where all the waxing takes place and the other room is for tanning. Both rooms are a good size and very private even in a large department store! The boutique offers spray tans, brows, facial waxing, body waxing - including intimate waxing and lashes.

I had an eyebrow tint and wax which was done perfectly and it was well needed! The wax Benefit use is designed to close the pores after waxing so you're less likely to get those annoying little bumps. After I had my eyebrows done, I had my make up done which looked lovely but unfortunately I didn't get a photo of it! Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would 100% recommend getting your brows and body waxing done at Benefit, they do a great job! They also included a lovely goody bag which I am grateful for!
