MUA Ever After Matte Palette

Hello everyone! I've had the MUA Ever After Matte Palette for a while and I've been testing it out to give a thorough review! I was hoping I'd absolutely fall in love with this palette, however that wasn't completely the case...

The outer packaging is standard MUA packaging, and inside you get 10 eye shadows, along with a double ended applicator. When I bought this, I just saw 'Matte' and '£4' and thought have to have it!

From L to R: Unwrap, Butter, Bare, Taffeta, Fade, Penny, Chino, Truffle, Fog, Smoke.

It's fair to say MUA's Matte Palette didn't impress me much, when I've used the shades Unwrap, Butter, Bare and Taffeta they don't show up very well at all as you can see in the swatches above! However, I do LOVE the shades that are well pigmented (Fade, Penny, Chino, Truffle, Fog and Smoke) and I don't suppose it is bad to get 6 well pigmented shadows for £4!

You can buy it at most Superdrug stores in the UK.

If you've tried this palette, what do you think of it? Did it meet your expectations?

  1. I do find that the paler shades in cheaper palettes just meld into 1 haha but the truffle colour is gorgeous! You could fully justify £4 for just 1 colour!
