The Autumn Tag

Hello everyone! I saw The Autumn Tag over on Makeup Pixi3's blog and thought it would make a great post. I absolutely love the colder months, I love wrapping up warm in a wooly jumper and enjoying hot drinks. I also absolutely love the countdown to Christmas as well, it's my favourite time of the year!

For Autumn, what is your...

1) Favourite thing about it?
My favourite thing about Autumn is the fact that it is so close to Christmas, and everyone will actually begin to utter the word! I love walking and stepping on the crunchy leaves as well.

2) Favourite drink?
My favourite drink during Autumn is from Starbucks and has to be the Honeycomb Hot Chocolate. Unfortunately I don't drink much so I couldn't even drink a small one alone, I'd have to share!

3) Favourite scent/candle?
I'm unsure what my favourite Autumn scent is at the moment, but I would absolutely love to buy the Salted Caramel & Vanilla Chai Yankee candles this Autumn, because they sound like they would smell absolutely gorgeous.

4) Best lipstick?
The lipstick that I think will be best for Autumn that I own is Rimmel Kate Moss 107, it's a lovely deep red colour.

5) Go to moisturiser?
My go to moisturiser for Autumn is the same as my everyday moisturiser, which is the Good Things Face of the Day moisturiser, it smells beautiful.

6) Go to colours for the eyes?
My go to colours for the eyes for Autumn are dark browns, I like to keep my eyes neutral for everyday.

7) Favourite music or favourite band/singer to listen to?
So far this Autumn, I have been listening mostly to Charli XCX and Paramore, but I always listen to Green Day no matter what time of year it is.

8) Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)?
I love wearing a thick wooly jumper with a snood, leggings and my Doc Martens. I love feeling warm and snuggly. Is that actually a real word?

9) Autumn treat (i.e. a new scarf or bag you have your eye on)?
I have my eye on a beautiful coat, but it's so expensive I don't know whether I'll be able to convince myself to buy it!

10) Favourite place to be?
My favourite place to be is at home, in my pyjamas, watching films or playing video games with a nice hot drink!

I tag everyone who wants to do this tag who hasn't already done it!

Primark Haul AW13

Hello everyone, I have recently gone absolutely CRAZY in Primark with two of my friends and I thought I'd show you everything I bought. Before the massive shop, I found myself short of Autumn and Winter clothing, and in need of a huge spend! I apologise for the bad lighting on my photos!

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

I saw this tag on Chloe's Way and it seemed so fun to do, so I'm doing it!

1) Name a beauty regime that you barely do.
Styling my hair. I'm really bad for it, I can't justify waking up earlier than 7am before college just to have time to straighten or curl or wave my hair.

2) Is washing your make up brushes something you do regularly?
I have to with liquid products, otherwise I feel like I'm putting make up from ages ago on my face! I usually wash them once a week or once every few days.

3) How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
I can't. I'll last until I have a night in to paint my nails (which is most of the time).

4) How long do you put off buying/replacing a new beauty or nail polish product even if you need it (i.e. a new base coat or a new foundation etc)?
Until I have the money to replace it really, I usually buy something before it's run out!

5) What is your worst beauty habit?
I'm not sure I have any, I think a bad beauty habit of mine is that instead of making the effort to put on lipstick I often just put on lip balm because I'm too lazy to top it up at college!

6) Name something non-beauty related you put off doing all the time?
Most of the time I feel so tired before bed and I still think that I need to cleanse, moisturise and tone, then I end up being lazy and just grab a cotton pad and my L'Oreal Micellar Water to take my make up off with.

7) When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
Not really. But I like to do my make up just before I go out so it usually makes me late!

8) Can you commit to spending bans?
Yes I can! Fortunately.

9) How organised is your make up and nail polish collection?
My make up is so unorganised, it is just in one big make up bag. I need to invest in Muji storage! My nail polish however, is extremely organised in vanity cases.

10) What is the longest amount of time you've gone without writing a blog post?
Probably about a week.

What's in my College bag?

Hello everyone! So today I'm back at college unfortunately! I am going to show you what is in my everyday college bag.

You may recognise my bag from my haul post. This is from Next and you can buy it here. It's a gorgeous berry colour, and is like a 'Mary Poppins' bag, you can fit tons of folders in there!

Next I have a refill pad from WH Smith, to write all my notes from my lessons in. I also have an academic diary to write all of my deadlines and exams in which is very useful! I got it from Paperchase.

Now for college, you can never have two many pens! I have two packs of Berol pens, one Broad and one Fine, mostly for making revision posters. Then I have one pack of Staedtler fineliners, which are the most useful item to have while you're at school or college!
My pencil case consists of many biros, and a pink Stabilo Boss Highlighter, for all those notes!

I also have my essentials, everyone needs a bottle of water to keep them well hydrated, I make sure I always have one in my bag. I also have my iPod and bus pass for those long bus journeys, and my memory stick in case I need to bring in any presentations.

Lastly are my beauty essentials for college! I always have a pack of tissues to hand, especially in the winter months. I also have my emergency Stylfile, which are the most amazing nail files, you can even attach this one to your keys! Another beauty essential every girl needs is a mirror, and this one is perfect with both a magnifying side and a normal side. Lip balm is definitely another essential, I have my Maybelline Baby Lips Intense Repair and Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose. I love how moisturising both these lip balms are, and how nice the Nivea one smells!

I always find myself needing a hair bobble or hair grips when I don't have them on me, so I've decided these need to go in my college bag this year! The last beauty essential I have is body spray, Mist You Madly from Soap & Glory. It smells absolutely amazing.

So, that's all for my college bag (for now)!

Make-up Firsts & Fails

I noticed this tag over on Love and Liquor's blog, and thought it would be quite fun to do. I'm glad I realised that the make up I was wearing REALLY didn't suit me quite soon after I started wearing it. Not until after I was professionally photographed at my Auntie and Uncle's wedding, however. Eek.

Max Factor Creme Puff: Even though I had this in the Translucent shade it made me the most orange I've ever been with bad foundations. It looked absolutely awful and I wore it to my Auntie & Uncle's wedding, looking orange in all of the photos.

Avon Colour Trend Concealer Stick: I wanted something to cover up my spots at the age of 13, and unfortunately picked this. It was absolutely awful. However, I used it for its actual purpose, unlike a lot of people in my school, who used it as lipstick.

Maybelline Pure Foundation Mineral: I had this in the lightest shade, and only used it for special occasions. I only recently stopped using this a few months ago, after I noticed it was actually a really bad colour and didn't blend well. I think I'm just too pale for Maybelline foundations.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse: I also had this in the lightest shade, but this was absolutely awful! I think every girl had it, and I wish I hadn't spent any money on this. Thankfully I realised it was awful quite quickly.

Barry M Dazzle Dust: I know what people are going to think, this isn't a fail. However it was for me. Unluckily I wore it thinking I looked really good, until by the end of the day I could hardly see. It turns out I was pretty allergic to this and my eyes were extremely red and puffy. Sexy.

Mary Kate and Ashley Lip Gloss: I remember buying this in my local Asda supermarket when I was about 6, I thought I looked amazing with it on and like many other make up products when I was younger than 15, hardly using it.

September Wishlist

Hello everyone! This is my wishlist for the month of September, I would have added more but there is no way I would be able to buy about 10 high end products in one month is there?!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent (£3.99): I've heard many people raving about this powder for setting their make-up, and I have wanted to buy it for a while. It may shock you to learn that I have never owned a powder, so I'm hoping this one will live up to my expectations.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Big Bang (£6.49): I already own Apocalips in the shade Celestial and absolutely love it. As I love wearing red lips, I want to try the Apocalips in Big Bang!

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer (£6.99): I have heard that this is a dupe for Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat and therefore really want to try it as Touche Éclat is AMAZING!

Sleek Face Contour Kit in Fair (£9.99): For just under £10, I think this is amazing. I've wanted this for a while and I'm going to have to get it this month!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Gel Eyeshadow in On and On Bronze (£4.99): I already have the Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold and really want to try the shade On and On Bronze because it looks absolutely beautiful!

EOS Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet (£4.99): I've heard both good and bad reviews about these but I think the packaging is amazing and knowing they're available to buy in the UK is great!
